About
Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences • Studio Arts • Collegiate Athlete
My journey combines Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences with Studio Arts and four years as a collegiate athlete. This unique blend has shaped my approach to rehabilitation: careful observation from the lab, empathy from the arts, and discipline from athletics.
In the lab, I learned precision—slicing brain tissue at 20–40µm requires meticulous attention. In studio arts, I developed patience and the ability to see subtle details others might miss. As a runner and team captain, I understand the importance of protocols, consistency, and supporting others through their recovery journey.
These experiences converge in my work as a Rehabilitation Technician, where I apply organizational skills, technical knowledge, and interpersonal care to assist patients, maintain equipment, and ensure safe, sanitary treatment environments.
Athletic Discipline

As a dedicated athlete, I've competed in cross-country and track at Washington and Lee University, serving as team captain for the 2024-25 season. This experience has instilled in me a profound understanding of perseverance, teamwork, and the intricate mechanics of the human body in motion.
My athletic background complements my academic and professional pursuits by providing a practical perspective on recovery, performance, and the mental fortitude required for rehabilitation. The discipline and consistency I've developed through years of training directly translate to my work in patient care.
